Casey & April Stafford, with Conlan , Joseph, & Stephen, December 2016
I discovered America in 1972, and I landed in Groom, Texas, because I wanted to be close to my mother.  I was an only child.

I grew up in Skellytown, Texas, where four generations of my family, on three different sides, lived since its beginnings during the oil boom of the 1920s.  I attended High School in White Deer & Motley County, Texas, before graduating from Deming High School in Deming, New Mexico, in 1991.

I attended Eastern New Mexico University, Southwestern Assemblies of God University, and completed my studies for pastoral ministry through Global University.

I am the son of a preacher.  I started preaching in 1994, was ordained with the Assemblies of God in 2000.  I have pastored churches in Deming and Las Cruces, New Mexico, and Bryan, Texas.  I traveled extensively as an evangelist from 2006-2009.  I married April Paschen, the daughter of a preacher, in 2013, and that same year we became the pastors of Lovelady Assembly of God in Lovelady, Texas.  We have three sons--Conlan Ray Joseph Bryan, and Stephen Andrew.

I am a pianist and singer.  I've written a number of my own songs.  I'm also an aspiring author; I've completed two novels, have several more in various stages of development, and would like to get published some day.

I have one hobby, genealogy, and it takes more of my time than my wife would like, but she is kind and patient and gracious enough to listen to my stories about digging up some family skeleton, finding some obscure fact, or discovering a new distant relative.

If you want to know anything else, please ask.
